Leo sits down again with Jake Fischer, executive director of IPac [ http://ipaction.org/ ] to bring us up to date on what the geek lobby has been up to recently, including fighting against legislation in congress that will make life harder for anyone who loves their digital devices, including the Intellectual Property Protection Act, also known as the DMCA II, and the launch of FireHatch.com [ http://firehatch.com/ ] designed to help unseat Orrin Hatch, the Utah Republican who once said that he would be all for letting the music industry blow up people’s computers if they downloaded copyrighted material (and was then found violating copyright on his own website), the Perform Act, the Induce Act, and much much more.

If you’re concerned about digital freedom and your rights as a customer of some of these industries that are aggressively lobbying to restrict your rights and freedoms, you should definitely check this out, and get involved!
