Another week, another Hook Me Up! with Becky Worley! This week Becky sends EMT Jon Chase into the field to help Lucretia Lee get hooked up. Lucretia is a classic case in need of a hookup; her computer is so so old that it can’t keep up with her needs anymore, and she has no idea what to get or how to shop for a new one. Jon Chase and the Hook Me Up team come to the rescue to help her find the best and most futureproof laptop for her needs, then land her with the hookup!

Another week, another set of drunken hilarity on DiggNation. Focus on Kevin, because Alex has been getting pretty ridiculous the past couple of weeks. This week on the show, the duo discuss the Opera DS browser in action, the top 10 bad ideas that made it big, a boy who can see with sound, how to dodge a bullet (by sharpening your reaction time), a Digg case mod, and 18 ways to trick your body.

ltspodcast logo

Hosts Chris, Graham, Taylor, and Jamie are on the podcast this week to discuss Leo and Leoville and all things TechTV related; including G4 actually getting something right (I’ll believe it when I see it) in the form of picking up the hilarious but cancelled Arrested Development, the possibility of Leo getting his KFI show nationally syndicated, bringing Kevin Rose kicking and screaming back to the TWiT panel, and more TechTV videos on thsites like YouTube and Google Video. Good stuff, this week!

MacBreak // Episode 12

macbreak logo

Another week and another episode of MacBreak. I’m glad to see MacBreak into something of a stride where they’re really cranking out episodes. This week is a special one; Getting To Done Evangelist Merlin Mann is on the show with Leo Laporte, and they’re talking about a topic that I think is of great import to most Mac users, Quicksilver. I for one am very eager to see this episode, because everyone is crowing about Quicksilver and how wonderful it is and I want to see what everyone’s so happy about. The pair give us a look at Quicksilver and show us how it can make our days smoother and our Macs even easier to use, if such a thing is even possible.

Security Now! // Episode 50

security now logo

Wow, 50 episodes of Security Now! An amazing milestone for an amazing podcast; one that’s probably the second most popular in the TWiT network, aside from TWiT itself. Good times.

This week’s Security Now! is an introduction to a hot topic as of late, virtualization. Even now, as people are looking for ways to emulate the use of other operating systems within their preferred operating systems; for example running Windows inside of MacOS, Leo and Steve sit down and discuss the security implications of virtualization, what exactly virtualization is, how it works, and the history of creating little computers within our computers.
