This week on DiggNation, Kevin and Alex are back on the couches, talking trash, discussing this week’s most dugg stories, and drinking beer. This big news this week is Google’s having purchased YouTube for over a billion dollars, the future of tires, World of Warcraft addicts poke holes in the WoW episode in record time, rumors fly that Battlestar Galactica might be going to NBC, Laser TVs, Best Buy Bucks, and much much more.

CrankyGeeks // Episode 31

crankygeeks logo

This week on CrankyGeeks is a return to normalcy, since apparently there were more than a fair share of whining morons after last week’s show featuring Neil Gaiman just wasn’t technical enough or wasn’t cranky enough for some of the folks who complained in the comments. Personally I thought it was a great show, but you can’t make everyone happy, and it’s always the few who feel like they have some self-entitled right for things to please them personally from their armchairs who come out ot complain. But anyway-another great show-just as good as last week-is lined up this week.

On this week’s CrankyGeeks John C. is back at the table with Sebastian Rupley, West Coast Editor, PC Magazine; Matt Mullenweg, Founder, WordPress.org; and Gary Messiana, CEO, Netli, Inc. They discuss Google’s purchase of YouTube, PS3 orders are already all over eBay, Sony rolls out 50GB Blu-Ray discs, Facebook wages a voter registration campaign, a new study says that over 50% of MySpace users are over 35, the rise of IPTV set-top boxes, and the million dollar contest by Netflix to design a better movie reccomendation system.
