On this week’s episode of FLOSS, right before the Thanksgiving break, Randal Schwartz and Simon Phipps host the show with special guest David Mason to chat about Zanata, a new technology to me, so I’m going to let the show notes describe it:
Zanata is written in Java and uses modern web technologies like JBoss, Seam, GWT, Hibernate, and a REST API. It currently supports translation of software through Gettext/PO, Java Properties and XLIFF, and DocBook/Publican documentation through PO files. Projects can be uploaded to and downloaded from a Zanata server using a Maven plugin or a Python client.
Sounds like an up and coming programming language/web technology to me! Check out the show below for all the details.
