Security Now! // Episode 21

This week’s Security Now! is all about last week’s Windows MetaFile flaw, and Leo and Steve get to chat with the man responsible for patching windows before Microsoft could get around to it, Ilfak Guilanov. The two chat with him about his third party patch that dominated the internet until Microsoft showed up a few days late and a couple of dollars short with their own, and why the flaw was so serious. Now that Microsoft has published their own fix, available via Windows Update, the discussion has simmered a bit, but it’s still worth following up on. Enjoy!
