Command-N // Episode 20

Wow! It’s been a whole 20 episodes since Command-N started! Once the new kid on the block, Amber and Mikey have churned out quality tech content every week (well, except Thanksgiving!) for 20 episodes now. That’s quite an accomplishment in my book, and their readership keeps growing, even if the jerks over at Wikipedia don’t think that Command-N is worth it’s own entry in the database, and have repeatedly deleted entries people make for the show. Jerks.

Anyway, this week on Command-N, Amber and Mikey pull a lot of their tidbits from one of our favorite sites, LifeHacker [ http://www.lifehacker.com/ ] and talk about how to start a del.icio.us feed in iTunes, Revver [ http://www.revver.com/ ], Moleskine pocket diary 2006, and much much more. Head on over and check it out!

Lab Rats // Episode 2

The second Lab Rats episode is finally available, but it’s definitely suffering from “new videocast syndrome,” meaning it’s pretty difficult to get through to the site right about now, but that’s okay-it’s not as bad as it has been for other shows. That being said, head on over and download it now. This week’s Lab Rats is all about getting you familiar with your TV set. Seriously-Andy and Sean turn the TV around and show you what all the plugs and connectors in the back are all about, what they mean, and what you can hook up to them. They get down to the nitty gritty and define terms like component, composite, HDMI &DVI, and optical, and help you learn what you need to know to really unleash the power of your home theatre system!
