Systm Folds into Tekzilla!

Systm logo

One of the announcements from this week’s Systm was that this week’s episode would be the last weekly of Systm – Patrick and Roger announced that the entire Systm crew would still be around, but Systm as a whole would be a feature segment of Tekzilla, thus bringing the hands-on, hardware-hacking, hardcore geekery to Tekzilla every week as well.

No word on whether or not this will increase Tekzilla’s length (I hope it does, Tekzilla is a little on the short side) but you’ll still see everyone from the Systm crew over on Tekzilla doing the same kinds of projects and DIY that you’ve come to expect.

It’s something of a bittersweet ending to one of the shows that used to flagship Revision3, but it’s not like it’s really going away, it’s just not standing on its own anymore – which kind of makes sense. Systm’s hardcore hacking was a little over the head of a number of Rev3 viewers who weren’t so interested in welding projects and building robots as much as they’re looking for cool apps and answers to their computer questions, so the two shows are a natural match for each other. Frankly, my money’s on the majority of Systm watchers also already watch Tekzilla. I know I do.

Roger and Patrick also let slip that Rev3 would be launching a new home theater and HD show at the end of July as well, so stick with TechTV Forever for news on that as well!
