On this week’s first DL.TV, Patrick and Robert talk up some of the hottest announcements from the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) that’s been going on in Las Angeles this week, including Sony finally revealing the pricing for the Playstation 3 console, set to debut this November, Nintendo bringing out the big guns and showing off all kinds of games and demos for the Wii console, and Microsoft’s announcements and some second generation XBox360 games. Additionally, they hit on the news that Warner Brothers is planning to sell some movies over bittorrent, and Patrick has finally got his hands on an HD-DVD player to review! The third real episode of MacBreak although the 8th actual download of MacBreak brings Apple’s Applescript Product Manager, Sal Soghoian, to Leo’s side to discuss Apple’s Automator, what it can do to streamline your workflow and automate commonly repeated tasks. The pair use Automator to do some incredible things! Any Mac users out there running MacOS X 10.4 and have Automator sitting quietly on their hard drive really should give it a shot, and this is an excellent tutorial on some of the things you can do with it!
